In the autumn of 2016, the Belgian newspaper Gazet van Antwerpen featured companies from the Kempen region who play a pioneering role when it comes to innovation. Sidec presented Terradec for this purpose.
Terradec was developed for the construction of water-permeable roads, driveways, parking lots and bicycle and walking trails. “Terradec is a combination of quartz and a special binder", explains CEO Yves Jonckers. After more than 3 years of research and development, Sidec started its commercialization. "We're aiming this product especially at driveways, parking lots, hiking and biking trails where looks and water-permeability play a major role."
